University Boat Race Bike Tour
Join us on a London University Boat Race Bike Tour and see this historic boat race between Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
This event has taken place between Putney Bridge and Chiswick Bridge since 1845 only stopping during the 1st and 2nd World Wars.
Depending on the time of the race varies each year according to the tide, we run a bike tour accordingly, taking in the sights along this lesser know part of Londons River Thames, we’ll enjoy mulled wine whilst we watch the race!
This ride is unlike our regular Ale Tasting Bike Ride as due to the University Boat Race all of the bridges on the route are closed for safety reasons and it is busy with spectators. So we cross the river only twice, this means we do not go via Chiswick Mall or Hammersmith Mall.
